To spread the knowledge of resuscitation among general public, hospital staff, students and doctors. |

To train and educate proper resuscitation techniques among the above mentioned categories. |

To educate doctors and staff nurses about recent trends and advanced skills of resuscitation. |

To monitor and audit resuscitation techniques in MIMS |

To conduct CME's (On Resuscitation ) |

To organize and co-ordinate research activities in the area of resuscitation. |

To improve inter personal relationships, especially between the hospital and the public through public education. |

Courses Available |

Public BLS Training program It covers BLS, Foreign Body Airway Obstruction, Trauma Life support, first aid and AED operations (both theory and hands on training). This will be conducted on every Sunday 9 am to 6 pm. Total seats; 25-30. Registration fee: Rs. 100 and Rs. 75 for students. |

One day BLS Provider course for doctors and staff nurses This will be conducted in peripheral hospitals. Course will cover BLS, PLS, Foreign Body Airway Obstruction, Trauma Life support, and AED operations (both theory and hands on training). BLS Provider card and certificates will be issued after completion of the course. Total seats: 25. Course fee: Rs. 2,500. This will be conducted once in every month. |

BLS/ACLS Provider Course This is a 3-day advanced training program on resuscitation. It is designed for doctors, qualified staff nurses, and qualified technicians working in emergency department. Academy issues provider card and certificate to those who successfully completes the course. Course will be conducted once in 3 months in MIMS auditorium. Course fee: Rs. 1500, (Rs.750 for MIMS staff and PG students). |

American Heart Association ACLS Provider Course Advanced training program in resuscitation organized by MIMS Academy in association with KIMS, and AHA. Course will be conducted twice in a year. Certificate is internationally valid. Course fee: Rs. 4,000. Total seat: 40 persons.
