MIMS is one of the busiest Accident & Emergency care centers in our state, catering to approximately about 10000 acute Emergencies every year. It is well equipped with 36 beds, which includes Triage beds, observation areas, which manage all forms of Medical, Surgical, Cardiac, PolyTrauma , Paediatric, Neurological, etc. Emergencies.

This is made possible by the presence of Trained & Competent Emergency Physicians, Nursing staff , & Paramedics, who work round the clock as a team ,dedicated in providing Emergency care. With an excellent back-up of other departments, like Trauma-Surgery, Orthopedics, Neurosurgery, Cardio-Thoracic Surgery, Cardiology, Neurology, Paediatric Surgery, Facio-Maxillary Surgery, Interventional Radiology, there are absolutely no short-comings in providing Emergency Medical treatment, the moment a victim is brought to the Emergency Department. All our dedicated ED staff are trained in BLS, ACLS & ATLS.

All the emergency triage beds are equipped with monitors, defibrillators, ventilators, syringe pumps, intubation equipments, etc., to provide the best possible treatment in the Emergency vicinity. We have 24 hours diagnostic service departments including
X-ray, USG, CT Scan, Interventional Radiology, Biochemistry, Cathlab etc., Regional Blood Bank is equipped with Ultra Modern Facilities for emergency transfusion and component therapy which is made available round the clock. We have fully functioning 13 operating rooms, and one operating room within the Emergency Department itself.
